Genesis Krampert

Genesis Krampert, LMHC, Rapid Response Program Director

Genesis Krampert has served our community since 2017. Genesis started off as an intern during her master’s program for Full-Service Schools, Englewood. She was hired as a Children and Family Therapist in 2018. Genesis has conducted a variety of groups in Spanish and English within DCPS ranging from grief to acculturation groups. Genesis served as the embedded therapist for Windy Hill Elementary during Spring of 2020 until the Winter of 2021. She served a large population of students and conducted multiple school wide interventions.  Genesis enjoyed training incoming interns and new staff while in Full-Service Schools.

Genesis became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in November of 2021. She joined the Rapid Response Team in January of 2022 and became the Licensed Clinical Supervisor in August of 2022. In January of 2025 she became the Program Director for the Rapid Response Team. Genesis has enjoyed serving all of Duval County through our crisis team, training new responders, and assisting in expanding CGC’s Rapid Response Team. Genesis has also enjoyed training patrol and corrections officers through the Crisis Intervention Team training via the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office on Baker Act threat assessments and de-escalation techniques. She has provided numerous trainings in our community on de-escalation and crisis intervention.

Genesis is also a certified trainer in Youth Mental Health First Aid. She enjoys advocating for suicide prevention and has spoken on two podcasts about suicide prevention, suicide ideation in teens, intervention, and available resources for the community. Genesis has also served as part of the Child Guidance Center’s Cultural Competency Committee since its founding in 2022.

Genesis obtained her BA in psychology with a focus on child development from the University of North Florida in 2014. Genesis then earned her MS in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Originally from Iowa, Genesis has been in Florida since 2012 and has now made Florida her home. She looks forward to continuing to serve the mental health needs of our community.
