Jill Broderick, LMHC, Community Action Team Director

Jill E. Broderick began her career with Child Guidance Center in 2005 as a therapist with the Englewood Full Service Schools program.  She also served on several committees at Child Guidance Center, focusing on clinical records and utilization review.  

In 2011, Jill pursued opportunities in comprehensive behavioral health assessment, qualified supervision, and quality assurance.  She served as quality assurance administrator for private practice.  Jill also provided forensic evaluation of adults and juveniles for competence to stand trial and trained with the USF mental health and law sector. She has extensive knowledge regarding child dependency in the legal system.  

In 2017, Jill rejoined the CGC as a TBOS therapist with Specialized Family Services.  Jill’s primary reason for returning to CGC is her belief in the agency mission and vision.  In 2018, Jill returned to the Full Service Schools team as a Licensed Clinical Supervisor for the Sandalwood team. Jill welcomed the opportunity to continue sharing her clinical experiences with other growing professionals newer to the field. She is passionate about training and motivating staff.  

In 2022, Jill was promoted to CAT Program Director.  As the CAT Director, Jill leads a team that provides wrap around services for families in crisis.  Jill feels honored to work alongside other professionals who share her enthusiasm for teamwork, collaboration, problem solving, consultation, and precision. 

Jill has a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and English from the University of North Florida.  Jill has worked with children and families in a variety of settings since 1998.  She is trained in Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Dialectal Behavior Therapy.  She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Qualified Supervisor for the State of Florida, and is trained in forensic mental health evaluations for adults and juveniles for circuit court.  Jill completed her master’s level internship at Jacksonville University Counseling Center.
