- Sleep problems
- Change in appetite
- Aggressive behavior
- Cruelty to animals
- Social withdrawal
- Fearfulness
- Regressing to earlier stages of development such as bedwetting or soiling
- Problems with attention
- Frequent injuries
- Fire setting
- Prolonged sadness and/or excessive crying
- Property destruction
- Inappropriate sexual behavior
- Lying and stealing
- Self-mutilation (e.g., cutting)
- Concerns about use/abuse of alcohol and/or drugs
